Skedler Reports v4 - License Deactivation

Skedler Reports license is associated with the server on which it was activated. On some occasions, you may want to transfer the license to another server. Before the license can be activated in another server, it needs to be deactivated from the original server. You can deactivate Skedler license key either online or offline using the Skedler User Interface(UI) or terminal

Note: UI Deactivation is not available in Skedler v3.7 and below

Skedler Reports Online Deactivation

Online deactivation requires an Internet connection.

UI Deactivation

1. Click the license information edition on the main-menu.

2. Click Deactivate button to deactivate the product license.

Command line Deactivation

Online deactivation requires an Internet connection.

1. To deactivate Skedler Reports license key, navigate to the skedler_home directory and run the following commands:

cd skedler_home
For Linux: bin/deactivate online
For Windows: bin\deactivate.bat online

Skedler Reports Offline Deactivation

Offline deactivation does not require an Internet connection.

UI Deactivation

1. Click the license information edition on the main-menu.

2. Click Deactivate button to deactivate the product license.

3. This generates a text file in the product_deactivation.txt path. Please send this file to Skedler Support team via https://support.skedler.com/support/home. Support team will deactivate and email you a confirmation.

Command line Deactivation

Offline deactivation does not require an Internet connection.

1. To deactivate Skedler Reports license key, navigate to the product_deactivation.txt and run the following commands:

cd skedler_home
bin/deactivate offline (Windows: bin\deactivate.bat offline)

2. This generates a text file in the product_deactivation.txt path. Please send this file to Skedler Support team via https://support.skedler.com/support/home. Support team will deactivate and email you a confirmation.

Skedler Reports license can now be activated on a new server. Please follow the steps outlined in Online and Offline Activation sections.
