Skedler Alerts license is associated with the server on which it was activated. On some occasions, you may want to transfer the license to another server. Before the license can be activated in another server, it needs to be deactivated from the original server. You can deactivate Skedler Alerts license key either online or offline using the Skedler Alerts User Interface(UI) or terminal
Note: UI Deactivation is not available in Skedler Alerts v3.7 and below
Skedler Alerts Online Deactivation
Online deactivation requires an Internet connection.
UI Deactivation
To deactivate the license in UI. Follow the below steps.
1. Click the About icon.
2. Click the Deactivate button to deactivate the product license.
Terminal Deactivation
To deactivate Skedler Alerts license key, navigate to the $alert_home path and run the following commands:
· cd alert_home
· bin/deactivate online (Windows: bin\deactivate.bat online)
Skedler Alerts Offline Deactivation
Offline deactivation does not require an Internet connection.
UI Deactivation
To deactivate the license in UI. Follow the below steps.
1. Click the About icon.
2. Click the Deactivate button to deactivate the product license.
This generates a text file product_deactivation.txt in download path. Please send this file to Skedler Support team via https://support.skedler.com/support/home. Support team will deactivate offline and email you the confirmation.

· cd alert_home
· bin/deactivate offline (Windows: bin\deactivate.bat offline for Windows)
This generates a text file product_deactivation.txt in the $alert_home path. Please send this file to Skedler Support team via https://support.skedler.com/support/home. Support team will deactivate offline and email you the confirmation.
Skedler Alerts license can now be activated on a new server. Please follow the steps outlined in Online and Offline Activation sections.
