Troubleshooting steps to launch Chrome web browser

Supported OS version

• Debian OS - 8 and above

• Ubuntu - 12.04 and above

• CentOS - 7 and above

• RHEL - 7 and above

If you get the following error when you start Skedler,

• Failed to launch chrome browser!!

To resolve,

        Run the troubleshooting.sh file from $skedler_home directory. This will list the chrome missing libraries. To use chrome web browser for report generation make sure the missing libraries are installed on the server. Once the dependencies are resolved. Start Skedler and try generating the report.

• Permission denied to access chromium browser!!

To resolve,

        Run the troubleshooting.sh file from $skedler_home directory. Start Skedler and try generating the report.
