Modified on Sat, 25 Sep, 2021 at 5:41 PM

If you have configured User Impersonation feature in your ELK stack, then you will be able to use the " User Impersonation" option in Skedler Reports.

User Impersonation in Skedler Reports helps you to generate report behalf of the login user. This will resolve the dependency of the user password during report generation.

Since, Skedler report generation requires the login username and password for report generation and If you're password is going to change frequently, then enabling "User Impersonation" in Skedler Reports will resolve the issue.

To enable "User Impersonation" in Skedler Reports,

Goto the Skedler Reports UI navigate to Configuration > Data Source > Authentication  sections if the Authentication Type is Xpack, you will be able to enable the  User Impersonation.
